Terrific Tater Trot

FamilyThe 2013 Tater Trot, held on Saturday, November 9th, turned out to be a great success.  The weather was beautiful and the participants had a fun time running the course.

In addition to being a great civic event, the Tator Trot is used as a fundraiser for the Christmas food boxes.  The race was the brainchild of Jon Lyksett, who along with his wife Marlene, have organized the race for the last couple of years.  After the prizes and awards were given out, Jon presented the CDT with a check for over $1,200.  We are all extremely grateful to the Lyksetts for working so hard to make this a well-run and enjoyable event.

The pictures show some of the participants at the race.
