Community Dinner Table’s calling is to ride out economic turmoil by offering a hot meal every Tuesday night from the first week in November to the last week in March at Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church. We are an organization comprised of 22 different faith and “friend” organizations in Bingham County. The goal of CDT is to feed individuals and families who are having problems putting food on their tables.
Addressing a vital part of the Community Dinner Table mission, the Food Pantry feeds the hungry in Blackfoot and Bingham County. The Pantry provides weekly distribution of foods in association with the Idaho Food Bank.
It is our goal at Community Dinner Table, Inc. to provide food resources for families and individuals who are struggling with putting food on the dinner table. That’s why we partnered with the Idaho Food Bank to provide a weekly food pantry in Blackfoot. It is incredible to think that the Blackfoot Community Pantry distributes more than 300,000 pounds of food from its Blackfoot location, 245 W. Sexton St. in Blackfoot, Idaho.

You have thousands of resources available through multiple agencies in Idaho across the state. Check out resources for housing assistance, food, medical care, education, and more.

It takes a large number of people to make both the community pantry and weekly dinners run smoothly to help our community.
When you donate money, we are often able to leverage that money to purchase items at a discount.
Food donations throughout the year are important to help us meet the needs for food distribution boxes and weekly dinners in our community.

While CDT is there to help our friends and neighbors in times of need, our real goal is to help people learn how to take care of themselves. The dinners provide a meal each week, but they also provide a chance for recipients to join a group and help prepare that meal, serve, or clean up.
