Bingham Ag Services Challenges Food Insecurity with Major Donation

Bingham Ag Services has reinforced its commitment to the Blackfoot community with a substantial donation of over $81,000 to the Community Dinner Table, an organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity in the area.

The donation, announced Monday, will help the Community Dinner Table expand its services and reach more residents facing food insecurity challenges across the Blackfoot region.

“No one in our community should go hungry,” said Jared Wolfley, President of Bingham Ag Services. “As an agricultural business, ensuring that local families have access to nutritious meals aligns perfectly with our company values. We’re honored to support the incredible work being done by the Community Dinner Table.”

This contribution represents the continuation of Bingham Ag Services’ long-standing relationship with the Blackfoot community. Founded in the area over 80 years ago by a group of local farmers, the company has consistently prioritized local involvement and support.

Community Dinner Table President, Jackie Young, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that it would make an immediate impact on their ability to serve vulnerable populations.

Bingham Ag Services has deep roots in Eastern Idaho’s agricultural landscape. The company has built its reputation not only on quality agricultural products and services but also on its philosophy of reinvesting in the communities it serves. Over the years, Bingham has supported numerous local initiatives focused on education, agriculture, and food security.

“Our success is intertwined with the community’s wellbeing,” Bingham Ag Services’ service coordinator, Diane Carey, explained. “Supporting organizations like the Community Dinner Table isn’t just charitable giving—it’s an investment in the health and stability of our hometown.”

The Community Dinner Table provides weekly hot meals during winter months and coordinates various food distribution programs throughout the year. The organization relies heavily on community partners and volunteers to fulfill its mission.

This donation comes at a critical time when many families continue to face economic pressures affecting their food security. Local officials praised the partnership as a model for how businesses can meaningfully address community challenges.
