Christmas Dinner
The Blackfoot Stake hosted the “pre” Christmas dinner on December 19th prior to the Christmas holiday. As with all the dinners, this turned out to be a great evening with 416 served. The meal included delicious roast beef, potatoes and gravy, corn, a roll and a glazed donut for desert.
The kids had a special treat as Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit at the dinner. Each child had a picture taken with Santa and was given a stocking with fruit, candy and a toy. 134 children were able to meet with Santa. Tables were laid out with hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for both adults and children. This was in addition to the coats that were available as well. Truly no one left hungry or cold on this winter night.
