THE BLACKFOOT TATER TROT IS AN ANNUAL 5K AND 10K RUN AND WALK TO SUPPORT BLACKFOOT’S CHRISTMAS BOX PROJECT.

CHRISTMAS BOX PROGRAM.
This is the 10th year that our community has supported this fun run, and nearly 4000 Christmas boxes have been given out during this time frame! The need is still here, and your help is needed more than ever before.
WHEN? WHERE? HOW?
This year’s fun run will be held Saturday, November 7. Given the challenges raised by covid-19, and in order to keep everyone safe, we’ve decided that this year’s event will be a “virtual” run/walk. Each individual will run or walk the 5K or 10K on their own rather than as a group. You can run/walk the regular course (markers will be posted on the course the day of the event), or just go make up your own course. You can even run/walk the appropriate distance on your treadmill at home! Kids can do a 1K fun run. You can still donate to a great cause, get a t-shirt if you desire, and go run on Saturday November 7th. Then you simply upload your results on the Active site when you are finished.
PRIZES
This year we will be having a random raffle for all registered runners. Prizes so far include pre-paid visa gift cards from Idaho Central Credit Union, and gift cards from Rupes and Tommy Vaughn’s. We will also still be awarding the coveted Mr. / Mrs. Potato Head trophies for the top finishers in each category.
