The yearly corn processing day, sometimes called “The Day of the Corn” was held September 19th. Richard Johnson donated approximately 5,000 ears of corn to the community. Tuesday, February 21st, Community Dinner Table Celebrated serving their 90,000 meal since they began serving their weekly dinners in 2008.
Dinners resume the last Tuesday in October at Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church.
We are so glad that a new venue allows us to return to in person dining on Tuesday nights! We continue to do what we can to provide a safe meal – and you can still request a take-out meal if you need to, but the drive through format has returned to in person dining, and we are so glad for the fellowship that provides.
