Great Start to a New Season!

Our 6^th season got off to a big start on Tuesday night (October 29^th) with 284 meals being served!  This is a far cry from the 92 we served at our very first dinner in 2008.  In fact, it was the 2nd biggest “opening night” that CDT has experienced.

A great meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn, tossed salad, a roll, and cupcakes was served to all who came.  Several commented that it was like a Sunday dinner!  The children were also able to make a Halloween project as part of the Kids Korner ™ and had a great time.

The dinners will be held each Tuesday night from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church on 168 South University Ave.  All those needing a hot meal or just some friendly conversation are invited to come.
