Beautiful Day for the Tater Trot!

Runners and walkers of all ages enjoyed a crisp and clear fall morning while participating in the 2015 Tater Trot.  This annual event provides funding for the food boxes that are prepared for the needy in the community prior to the Christmas holiday. This year $1,500 was given to CDT to be used to make Christmas a bit brighter for many of our friends and neighbors who are struggling at this time of year.

Events included a 5k and 10k walk, a 5k and 10k run, and a half mile run for children. Special thanks goes to Jon Lyksett who organized the event, corporate sponsors for helping and providing prizes for participants, CDT board members for serving the taters, and all the participants for coming out and helping fund the Christmas food boxes.  We also want to recognize the food donations of those supporting the Snake River High School run held at Jensen’s Grove that morning.
