Thanksgiving was different this year – a drive-by rather than a sit-down dinner. While we look forward to the time when we can resume our in-person dinners, we’re grateful for the creativity and flexibility demonstrated by our volunteers, enabling us to provide this take-out style dinner in this time of covid-related restrictions.

On December 16th CDT volunteers prepared and served the yearly Christmas Dinner. 483 people were served a beautiful meal of ham, potato casserole, salad, corn, roles and a sundae served on a brownie for dessert. Despite covid-19 challenges, we continue to prepare take out dinners on Tuesday evenings for those in our local area who would like them. We are grateful to each organization who steps up and helps to serve the needs of our community through our Community Dinner Table.
The final Tuesday night dinner was served to a record-breaking 356 people and the 2013-2014 season has been brought to a very successful close.
