Celebrating Christmas with the Children

Tuesday, December 17 will be a big night at the CDT dinner for all the children.  Santa Claus will be coming and will be presenting each child a stocking filled with treats and goodies.  In addition they will be able to have a picture taken with Santa that they can take home that night.

The stockings are a special treat, in that each one is unique and has been made with love by the ladies from the Blackfoot LDS East Stake.  There were 275 stocking made to be presented to each child coming to the dinner.  Melanie Gardner helped coordinate the effort and explained  that she represented all the ladies in saying that “they were fun to make and everyone enjoyed it because they were going to a good cause.”   We are very grateful to Melanie and all the ladies of the East Stake for their efforts.  We also appreciate Jon Lyksett for helping with the pictures each year.
